I'm a full-stack software engineer who brings the same analytical mindset to solving complex technical challenges as I do to exploring Colorado's wilderness. Professional Experience
- As a Full Stack Developer at Shop4D, I improve an established Point-of-Sale system using modern design patterns and frameworks. I build new system components, add external API connections, and redesign the UI/UX, making the system faster and more user-friendly. I also create better development practices that improve system stability and team productivity.
- As the founder of Wildforge Development, I build web applications for nonprofits and startups, including donation management platforms and HR systems that simplify hiring. I focus on developing fast, scalable applications using Next.js and Django, and set up secure cloud infrastructure that improves operations for multiple clients.
- Before 2019, I built a strong foundation in IT through roles in systems administration and technical support. I managed IT infrastructure, optimized systems for better performance, and provided solutions to a variety of technical challenges. These experiences not only deepened my understanding of technology but also sparked my interest in software development. Projects
Using Next.js and Tailwind, I built a volunteer management platform that handles team organization, schedule creation, and automated text/email reminders - making it easier for organizations to coordinate their volunteers.
Using Django, I created a donation tracking system that streamlines the processing of physical contributions. The platform manages donor information, categorizes donations, generates accounting reports, and automates the creation of year-end tax documentation.
Currently working on a web application that simplifies job searches with automated resume matching. Using NLP, it analyzes resumes against aggregated job postings and sends real-time alerts for top opportunities, giving job seekers a competitive edge.
Another In progress project designing an applicant tracking system that automates resume submissions and job questionnaires, centralizes applicant data, and streamlines hiring workflows. Designed for scalability, it showcases my ability to create efficient, enterprise-grade software that simplifies recruitment.
As a fresh graduate, I developed a strategic web presence for a startup seeking investor funding. I independently designed and built a responsive website using HTML, CSS, and jQuery, delivering a professional platform that helped the company showcase their vision to potential investors. The rapid deployment of this solution demonstrated my ability to execute time-sensitive projects while maintaining high quality standards.
For my Computer Science capstone, I built a full-stack web application using Python and Django. The app enabled users to browse menu items, add them to a cart, and check out seamlessly. This project showcased my ability to design user-friendly solutions and manage the full development lifecycle.
